Acts of Imagination (AOI)

Passionate Founders inspire waves of change, especially when they have the language to talk about their vision in a concrete way. Mages Ruiz Diaz is a creative powerhouse I’ve had the joy of collaborating with over the last 4 years – initially a little copy for her consultancy business in her namesake, then for her creative studio, DIAZ DAVIS, and their clients. But this time around, Mages is cooking up something that’s set to bring extraordinary experiences into ordinary, everyday life.

Meet Acts of Imagination (AOI), Mages’ film production and events house. Based in Melbourne but servicing clients Australia-wide, AOI is the culmination of Mages’ deep experience in film and event production, as well as branding. She approached me in late 2023 to craft AOI’s verbal identity, which is how the brand communicates out in the world. This is my ‘Ignite Your Creative Brand’ package, which included AOI’s bold tagline, ’do extraordinary’, 5 key messages, target audience positioning statements, USP, a custom brand personality and tone of voice, as well as an epic brand story.

What I love most about Mages and AOI is the dedication and focus on the power of storytelling to transform people’s lives. Not in a boring, traditional narrative way, but through the combined lenses of wonder and awe. As we all rub our weary eyes, burnt out from the pangs of the pandemic, brands like Acts of Imagination are ready to reawaken our senses and jolt us back to life.
