One of my core values is curiosity. So when I met the wonderful Lisa Lie and was introduced to her micro-learning app, Learna, I couldn’t help by get excited. Learna is designed to transform how people learn, grow and engage at work via short lessons (under 10 mins to complete) on a range of different topics from leading experts. From having difficult conversations to boosting your productivity, Learna offers bite-sized opportunities to practice those all important soft skills needed for the modern workplace.

Lisa invited me to contribute a few lessons on creativity and creative blocks, leveraging my expertise and decades of experience in the field. The lessons are: Harnessing Time, Cultivating Your Curiosity and Igniting Your Energy. As a creativity coach, I focus on practical steps you can take to dissolve creative blocks. Why? When you focus on the blocks directly, rather than trying to create around them, you learn more about yourself and the creative process at the same time. By not avoiding the work we really need to do, we grow as people and create a clearer path for creativity to flow to us.

Now, I can add ‘content creator’ to my list of skills and all the initial feedback on my lessons has been incredibly positive! That’s what I love most about collaborating and contributing to other people’s creative visions: so much magic is made when we work together. And you never know where it will lead or what other opportunities will find you.
